For the third straight year the West Point Society of Naples held an Army – Navy Game viewing at Bokampers in Naples, Florida. A rabble rousing group of ninety Grads, spouses, family members, and friends of West Point were in attendance. Also joining us were members of the West Point Parents Club cheering Army on to another victory over Navy.
Pete Lilly ’70 led a halftime rendition of “God Bless America”. Various attendees were recognized; Distinguished Graduate Rod Vitty ’55 and wife Pat, oldest grad Bob Badger ’54, and youngest grad Matt Shanahan ’99. Our local MALO assistants, Bob Jahn, parent of ’08 and Tony DiBiase, parent of ’20, were there with their families. The Classes of ’59 and ’64 had a large contingent in attendance.
Mike Kostoff ’79 led the 4th Quarter rally Rocket to get our room of rabble rousers re-energized for the go ahead Army drive. A great time was had by all and culminated with Army singing the Alma Mater last. Until we meet again – Go Army and Beat Navy!
