The West Point Society of Naples held another “Go Army! Beat Navy!” event at The Hangout by Two Guys in Naples, Florida on December 9th, 2023. The Falisi Family, owners of The Hangout, always do a great job in hosting our event at their restaurant.
We had over fifty Army Grads and Family members, West Point Parents Club of Southwest Florida members, and yes, even a few Navy Grads in attendance. John Klucik was representing Silvercrest Asset Management Group, the event sponsor. A “Big Thank You” to John and Silvercrest for their support of the event.
We had Pete Lily, ’70, lead us in a halftime rendition of “God Bless America” where the whole establishment joined in singing. The Oldest Grad in attendance was Rod Vitty, ’55, and the Youngest Grad was Derek DeVecchis, 2013. We had Mike Kostoff, ’79, lead us in not one, but two “West Point Rocket” cheers during the second half, as the game was that close.
Everyone had a great time catching up with Classmates and friends. We had a big presence of 1964 and 1980 Grads and their family members in attendance. In the end, Army sang second!
