On June 9th, over 60 guests gathered at Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre in Fort Myers for our annual Hail and Farewell event. We were joined by 5 Class of 2027 Cadet Candidates and one USMAPS Cadet Candidate. Class of 1977 and 50-year Class Affiliate Representative Brien McGaffin shared a few words of wisdom and welcomed them to the Long Gray Line. We were also very fortunate to have 4 Class of 2023 graduates in attendance. They each shared some of their best USMA memories as well as gave the incoming plebes some practical tips on surviving Beast. Class of 1973 50-year Class Affiliate Representative Keith Rockwell congratulated the newly-minted Second Lieutenants and wished them much success as they begin their next chapter as Officers in the Army.
